Melodie M. Davis Editor | Melodie M. Davis has been the local editor of Living since its inception in 1992 and became national editor in 1995. She is also a writer/producer for MennoMedia in Harrisonburg, Va., author of eight books, and syndicated columnist of Another Way newspaper column since 1987. Mary Jo VeurinkGraphic Design | Mary Jo Veurink is a freelance graphic designer living in Broadway, VA. She enjoys working from home in order to spend time with her two young daughters. She is also church administrator at Grace Mennonite Fellowship, Lacey Spring. Her husband, Lynn, works in the Auxiliary Services office at Eastern Mennonite University.

Sales Representative | Kay Kibler is an ad sales representative for Valley Living magazine. A resident of the Broadway area since the early 70s, she has worked for a variety of businesses related to home health, office work, food service, and human resources. Most recently she has been a personal care assistant and caregiver for family members. She also volunteers her time around the community when she is able, especially at her church, Grace Mennonite Fellowship in Lacey Spring. Contact Kay.
Lindsey ShantzManager | Lindsey Shantz serves as production & finance manager of Living operations. She is a Virginia Tech graduate with experience in print publications, advertising and editing/design. She coordinates all aspects of the publication from schedules to overseeing layout and advertising to billing and financials. She is married to Tim and the mother of two young children.

Ivette ChurneySales Representative | Ivette Churney is a sales representative for Valley Living. She has a degree in communications media and her past work experiences include sales and marketing in television, newspaper and radio. She coordinates all aspects of advertising for Valley Living and enjoys helping clients reach their advertising goals. She and her husband Peter have two children, Orian and Nick. She also enjoys spending time with her family in outdoor activities and reading (Valley Living of course!). Contact Ivette.

Peter ChurneySales Representative | Peter Churney has also joined the sales team for Valley Living. Originally from Maine, he has lived in the Shenandoah Valley since 1999 and teams up with his wife Ivette in finding and working with advertisers for the magazine. Pete works for WSVG radio in Mt. Jackson, with whom he is producing a pilot syndicated current affairs radio program “This Week!” He is a graduate of  the University of California, Berkeley, with a BA in English and currently is taking graduate Bible studies at Christian Kingdom College in Winchester. He has worked for a variety of radio and TV stations, nationally as a Broadcast Meteorologist.
